An international industry leader in financial services is looking for an experienced Regional Head of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of the region. About the Regional Head of Finance (Latam) role: This role plays a key role in ensuring the region's financial stability, regulatory compliance and the achievement of financial objectives. In addition, the position collaborates across functions (IT, Operations, Sales, HR, etc.).

1. Provide accurate financial reporting and information to senior management.

2. Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations. Oversee legal, financial, tax and statutory obligations in the region.

3. Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain internal controls and standardise the control environment across the different business units in the region.

4. Lead the standardisation of administrative and accounting processes between the different business units in the region.

5. Lead the migration to a common ERP system.

6. Lead continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction and process efficiencies. Collaborate with the group finance team to create a shared service centre for selected financial processes.

7. Collaborate with Group FP&A on financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.

8. Manage working capital to ensure financial stability and work with business leaders to optimise working capital conditions across the region and in line with Group policies.

9. Coordinate the integration of the finance function of new businesses and collaborate with business leaders on overall operational integration in the event of mergers and acquisitions in the region.

10. Provide financial information for strategic decision making to both Group finance and regional business leaders.

11. Collaborate with the management team on financial strategies aligned with organisational and business objectives.

12. Oversee, mentor and lead the development of the regional finance team.

13. Foster a culture of accountability and build strong working relationships with the group finance team and across business units in the region.

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

2. +8 -10 years of finance and accounting experience

3. Proven experience as CFO / Chief Financial Officer / Senior Financial Controller in a multinational environment, preferably with experience in Europe or North America

4. Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory compliance

5. Excellent financial analysis and forecasting skills

6. Fluency in Spanish and excellent communication skills in general. Fluency in English is highly desirable

7. Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
